Owned by and named after the family of The Duke of Westminster and housed in an impressive Grade II listed building in the centre of the historic city of Chester, the Grosvenor Hotel is a stylish, contemporary property dedicated to excellence. The Classic guestrooms have individual colour schemes and are designed and furnished with the finest bespoke furniture (including queen-sized beds), complemented by luxurious fabrics. They are fully air-conditioned and double-glazed, each having a wide screen digital television, DVD Players, Bose CD radio alarm clock, modem point, complimentary WIFI, 2-line telephone with 3 extensions, towelling bathrobes, slippers, guest safe, trouser press, individual fridge stocked with mini-bar and exclusive Molton Brown toiletries. The en suite bathrooms have bathtub and shower facilities.
The hotel offers a variety of dining experiences. Its newly refurbished fine dining restaurant – “Simon Radley at The Chester Grosvenor” –offers contemporary dining in an atmosphere of chic sophistication and features one of the most extensive wine cellars in England. The restaurant has retained its Michelin star for the 20th consecutive year and is one of only 26 restaurants in the UK to have been awarded 4 Rosettes by the AA.
For more informal dining experiences, “La Brasserie” has a relaxed, Parisian-style atmosphere, while the “Arkle Bar and Lounge” is a comfortable lounge area of understated elegance that serves morning coffee, light lunches and features a traditional afternoon tea and pre-dinner drinks and cocktails in the evening.
The hotel also boasts an excellent Spa, where you can experience the rejuvenating effects of one of the few salt grottos in the country, as well as five luxury treatment rooms, a relaxation area, steam room, herb sauna, ice fountain, foot baths and themed shower.
